Excellent skills and extensive experience in animal handling and various animal models of cardiovascular disease (such as vascular injury-induced neointimal formation, arterial ligation, vascular grafting, cell injection/transplantation or bone marrow transplantation model, etc.) are essential. Good experience in stem cell biology is also desirable, including induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell generation and differentiation, direct conversion/transdifferentiation of somatic cells into vascular cells, isolation/characterization of different types of adult stem/progenitor cells from various tissues/organs, RNA sequencing, and/or bioinformatics.
