Scholarship Description:
In the area of Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality in Construction Engineering, PhD positions are available immediately in the Human-Centered Construction (HCC) Lab, in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, University of Alabama. to work on research projects to investigate the use of Virtual Reality (VR)/Augmented Reality (AR) for Human-centered construction training and analysis.
Eligibility criteria:
To work on research projects to study Human-Centered Visualization in Construction. Specific responsibilities include:
• To work with other PhD students on VR model developments (Unity development; Python, R, JAVA, C#, MATLAB preferred).
• To lead a user requirement study about the emerging visualization technology needs in construction.
• To assist the data analysis.
• To lead and participate in disseminating the results via publications.
