Scholarship Description:
Dr. Jun Ma is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban Planning and Design at the University of Hong Kong. A PhD graduate from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, he is recognized as one of the Top 50 AI+X Young Scholars. His team focuses on cutting-edge research in smart construction and smart cities, undertaking key R&D projects with government and industry.
The research group plans to study large language models and multi-agent collaboration frameworks for developing BIM smart review systems. We are recruiting 2-5 postdoctoral researchers (HKD 30k+/month) and research assistants (HKD 18k+/month) in the following three areas:

- Large Language Model Agent Engineer / Postdoctoral Researcher / Research Assistant
- BIM Data Parsing Engineer / Postdoctoral Researcher / Research Assistant
- BIM Web Tool Development Engineer / Postdoctoral Researcher / Research Assistant
Eligibility criteria:
- Background in computer science or related fields; RAs require a bachelor’s degree, while postdoctoral researchers need a PhD. Preference for those with publications on large language models.
- Familiarity with LLM application development frameworks and common algorithms, such as knowledge enhancement, tool learning, and automated code generation.
- Responsible for developing a multi-agent collaboration framework for BIM compliance review after joining.
- Background in civil engineering, architecture, or computer science; RAs require a bachelor’s degree, while postdoctoral researchers need a PhD. Preference for those with publications on BIM automation.
- Familiarity with common BIM data structures and tools; experience in Revit customization is a plus.
- Responsible for designing the main functions of a knowledge system and tool platform for BIM-LLM interaction after joining.
- Background in computer science; RAs require a bachelor’s degree, while postdoctoral researchers need a PhD. Preference for those with development experience.
- Full-stack development skills; ability to use Revit API or Autodesk Platform Services; familiarity with 3D visualization is a plus.
- Responsible for building a cloud-based, 3D visualization, and voice-interactive human-computer collaboration platform after joining.
